As the Nebraska Cornhuskers were forced to practice indoors yesterday because of inclimate weather, coach Bill Callahan took the opportunity to drill them intensely on his offensive gameplan.
“We’ve got a lot of plays in,” Callahan told the university's official website. “During this time when you have just shorts in practice, we try to overload them with the mental side of football because there’s not much contact. What we’ve done is elected to put in more of our system and teach them more about what we’re trying to get accomplished.”
Seems like a pretty sound approach to things. What do you guys think of Callahan's strategy here?
