Colorado - Nebraska game

Well, we've been discussing about how Nebraska's been preparing for Colorado.

That preparation ends this Friday. So who wins the game between the Buffaloes and the Cornhuskers?

Re: Colorado - Nebraska game

This game is all about remaining focused for Nebraska. They can easily beat this Colorado team if they remain focused. With the game being played in Lincoln, the Huskers will have plenty of support and should take care of business but Colorado's defense may keep it close for a while.

My pick:
Huskers 30
Buffs 3

deja vu?

Yeah, I don't see much of a problem for Nebraska unless they just have a fluke game. This should be pretty lopsided by the 2nd half.

My pick:
Colorado 8
Nebraska 31

Re: Colorado - Nebraska game

"We ended things on a positive note," Cornhuskers coach Bill Callahan is quoted as saying in this article. "We’re just ready to play Friday. We’ve got a team dinner tonight at 5:30 in West Stadium, and then tomorrow we’ll go through our normal routine, with afternoon meetings, a walk-through and our team movie at night. Then Friday we’ll wake up and get ready to play a game."

I've got to agree with you guys; I think Nebraska wins this game big, maybe 42-17.

Re: Colorado - Nebraska game

Huskers had a battle on their hands as Colorado stayed close with a 14-14 tie late in the 3rd quarter before Nebraska made some big plays with a safety and a couple of TD drives to put the game away. Final score:
Huskers 37
Buffaloes 14

Huskers Stampede Buffs

It may have been the day after Thanksgiving, but No. 19 Nebraska made it seem more like Halloween, turning trick plays into touchdown treats in a 37-14 victory over Colorado in front of a Memorial Stadium record crowd of 85,800 and an ABC national television audience on Friday afternoon.
