Huskers-Kansas

The Nebraska-Kansas rivalry has gone on uninterupted for more than 100 years making it the oldest continuous matchup in college football history. Kansas beat Nebraska last year for the first time in more than 40 years. They not only won, they won handily 40-15. I have a feeling that Nebraska is going to crush them this weekend. What do you think?

I agree. Kansas is not that good. Nebraska by at least 3 TD's.

Re: Huskers-Kansas

So much for a blowout, eh, guys? Nebraksa needed OT to put away the Jayhawks, despite 4 Zac Taylor touchdown passes and 531 yards of total offense. They committed three turnovers, all fumbles, and the Husker D allowed 584 yards of total offense to the supposedly outmatched Kansas offense. What in the world happened to the Cornhuskers in this one?

Re: Huskers-Kansas

Huskers defense was exposed. Kansas started Adam Barmann at QB instead of Kerry Meier and he made Kansas look like a completely different team on offense than the one I saw against USF the week prior. Whatever it was, the Blackshirts better figure it out before going into Ames this week to take on Iowa State.

Re: Huskers-Kansas

A big Husker fan I work with today read an article today that stated that Nebraska defensive players were complaining that their own crowd noise disrupted their play? I thought you were supposed to make noise when your defense was on the field? It must not have been too bad since Kansas rolled up about 500 yards of offense.
