This should be the feature game in the Big 12 this week with the surprising Missouri Tigers undefeated this season. If the Cornhuskers are truly back this season, these are the type of games they need to win. I lean towards the Tigers at home.

I am really looking forward to this game. I am a lifelong Nebraska fan, lived there from age 5 to 12 and caught the Husker fever then. This game will reveal a lot about both teams and will either confirm that Nebraska is once again a contender for the North or still a work in progress. Missouri is undefeated and has blown out Nebraska the last two years by a combined score of 93-23.

The Columbia, Missouri area is under a flash flood alert and the heavy rains are expected to pick up again right around kickoff. Some areas just west of Columbia have already received 3-5 inches of rain with more on the way. I'm thinking this may affect the size of the crowd with many people unable to get to the game or unwilling to sit outside in the heavy downpours expected.

Playing conditions are going to very sloppy, the field will become a giant mud pit. Not sure who will have the advantage in this kind of weather, but I would expect a lot of turnovers.

Yes, it is one miserable game. I have a friend I just talked to yesterday that lives in Columbia and says the same thing you stated deserrat. He says he was going to go but doesn't want to sit in the rain. It looks miserable during this game.

Mizzou up 9 -0 to start the 3rd qtr.

What an amazing 4th quarter for the Huskers! Ndamakong Suh is probably the best player in the nation, many NFL scouts project him as the #1 pick in the next draft.

LOL. No doubt about it, sure reminded me of the Pacific NW for sure with the flooding and pouring down rain.

Incredible comeback and domination in the 2nd half by the Cornhuskers. I know Tiger fans had to be disappointed but the best team won this game.
