When Callahan first came to town I thought it was going to be great. But yes, now I agree. Pelini should have been the go-to in the first place!

Most Husker fans wanted either Bo Pelini or Turner Gill to take over as head coach. There was a good chance Bo Pelini would have stayed on with Turner Gill, but Steve Pederson made a huge mistake by hiring Bill Callahan, especially when he had already proven he was unfit for the job by blaming his players for his poor performance as Raiders head coach. I thank God every day that Tom Osborne replaced Steve Pederson and immediately rectified the Bill Callahan mistake. I look forward to Fall Saturdays again!
