| North Carolina State vs. Wofford This should be the week that Tom O'Brien gets his first win as the NC State head coach. Wofford is 2-0, but those wins came against Georgetown (KY) and Charleston Southern. I just don't believe that they have the calibur of athlete to stick around with the Wolfpack in this one. Harrison Beck threw five picks against BC last week, but I look for him to rebound with a big game here. What do you think?

| Re: North Carolina State vs. Wofford We shall see - Ask the Gamecocks... Last year Wofford was on the USC 10 yard line at the end of the game - driving for a tying score. They came up just a little short. In the final quarter they scored 10 points - shutting the Gamecocks down to get the ball back for that final drive. The Gamecocks were probably a better team then than State is now... And Wofford is a better team now than they were then. Also... App State 14 - Wofford 7 2006... in Boone. Lots of the same skill players on the 2006 ASU team as the one that waxed Michigan week before last. Don't count the chickens before they hatch! |

| Re: North Carolina State vs. Wofford Well, upset threat or not, the Wolfpack came away with the victory. According to the Associated Press, "Andre Brown rushed for 133 yards and a career-high three touchdowns, leading North Carolina State to a 38-17 win over Wofford on Saturday night... The Wolfpack (1-2) finished with 217 yards rushing in snapping a nine-game losing streak that was their longest since 1959. They entered averaging just 71 yards on the ground in two games, having lost leading-rusher Toney Baker to a season-ending knee injury in the opener."
