| North Carolina State vs. UCF This should be an interesting opener for the Wolfpack. N.C. State is picked to finish in the last place in the ACC Atlantic Division. That doesn't sound promising, so if this squad has any hopes of getting bowl eligible, they need all the wins they can get. Can they beat UCF and earn one in the first week of the season? Who are the players to watch in this one?

| Re: North Carolina State vs. UCF Tough loss for the Wolfpack in Tom O'Brien's debut, but at least they made a game out of it. Trailing 25-3 at the half, N.C. State scored 20 unanswered points in the second half, and had the ball at the 20 with six minutes to go. However, they came up short on a 4th down play and UCF came away with the upset victory. Wolfpack fans, can you take away positives from this in how the team performed in the third and fourth quarters? |
