It's Finals time, (the crowd goes wild) Too bad it's not the Kobe-LeBron dream match-up the NBA wanted (David Stern cusses) It's Magic vs. Lakers Game 1 is Thrusday.

I got Lakers in 5 or 6, probably 6

I will have to watch the first game to see how they match up. I havent watched much of the Lakers.
But just because you took the Lakers, I have the Magic in 7.
Its always best in these things to take the opposite side you do.

The Lakers match up way better with the Magic than Cavs did. If Odom tries he can guard Rashard Lewis that may be a big if, but he'll be the first guy with any chance. Gasol and Byum and are really athletic and those are the types that give Howard trouble (and with the refs on the Lakers side) he'll get into foul trouble. Then Courtney Lee and Peitrus will be switching off on guardning Kobe which he means he's going to go Ape**** on them. Espacailly because he won't have to try as hard on defense, he'll still play defense but he won't have to push himself as hard there, which he can focus more on offense. The Lakers should win this

As much as it pains me, I am going to pick LA in 6. Although they have no one to truly shut down Howard, Orlando has no one that can stop Kobe.

This is the stage where true champions show that they are a cut above. Kobe should take over and lead the Lake Show to their latest title, and Kobe his first without the big Aristotle.

Watching Howard this season (the regular season) yes he will dominate Gasol, but Gasol is one of those fessness bigs that Howard has in trouble with because he does too much and then gets a foul called on himself. Everytime he played the Bulls, Joakim Noah and Tyrus always got him in foul trouble, I think Gasol can lol

Howard does have a problem with getting into foul trouble, although he appeared to play a bit smarter in the last game.
My sister said he came into the NBA right out of high school and never had any college experience. She thinks maybe thats why he is still in the learning curve.

This is definitely a Lakers ball game. Crushed Orlando in game 1. I bet they win game 2 as well.

Wow what a game. Series is 2-1. That was a close game to, 108-104. The Magic shot a finals record of 63% from the field and kept a pretty good hold on Kobe. After looking at a game like this though it makes you tihnk, if the Magic were 63% from the field and broke a finals record and still only won by 4 points, then winning the rest of the finals will be very very tough.
