The Dallas Mavericks have one key player, named Dirk Nowitzki. If the Heat can contain Nowitzki from scoring big (like in Truman Doctine), then they will win the series in no-time.
You're right about what Shaq will show up, I think i'ts going to be the Shaq of the 1990s. And here's my reasoning, he promised that he would bring a championship to Miami and I believe him. I think that he could outplay Dirk Nowitzki just on memory. He will be motivated.

Re: Finals Predictions

Heat in six games. Not convinced that Avery Johnson is the next coming of Red Auerbach. Heat have some guys who know this is most likely their last shot at a ring in Walker and Payton. They will lay it all on the line here. When Shaq was with Kobe and the Lakers, he used to eat the Mavs for breakfast.

Re: Finals Predictions

I guess you are the only person rooting for the underdog, here. I have to commend you for your bravery, ThePundit.

Personally, I just want to see the team that should win it, win it. Miami is stacked full of superstars, and so where the Mavericks in 2003. In conclusion, Miami should win this series, even though Sports Illustrated picks the Mavericks.

Re: NBA Finals Predictions

Is it true that Stackhouse will not be able to playing in game #5
If that is true why was Shack able to draw blood from Stackhouse game #3 and also almost knock Nowitzki out. Not fair. I think in the same game #3 Shack had to get a fine for not speaking with the media. Then in game #4 thank God Wade for being the player he is to get his team victory in game #3 and 4 who was the first person up to talk to the media Mr. Shack and Wade had speak last Wade is a great Gentlemen.

Welcome aboard prucker, glad to have you with us...Do you feel the refs are calling a different game were Shaq is concern?

If Miami takes it, do you see Wade as the MVP of the playoffs?

Re: NBA Finals Predictions

Welecome to GoTeamsGo Prucker. I hear what your saying but Shaq not talking to the media and Stackhouse getting suspended are 2 totally different issues. With Stackhouse, they're trying to avoid people getting hurt. I agree Shaq was out of line not to talk to the media, though.

Re: NBA Finals Predictions

Yep, Miami sure earned it. Definitely an impressive playoffs for the Heat, and now Riley looks like a genius for taking over the team.

Lefty: I respectfully disagree with you. If it weren't for a pathetic call, the Mavs win the series.

Re: NBA Finals Predictions

Well, even if that call was bad, it only affected the outcome of one game. Still no excuse when you have more chances to win it. Its like how Raider fans keep coming back to the tuck rule or Cubs fans keep complaning about Bartman. Yes, all of those were bad breaks for your team. But guess what? There was still time for the guys on the field/court to man up, take matters into their own hands, and win the game/series. Now if we're talking multiple bad calls and a possible consipracy, like Cuban suggests? Then that's a horse of a different color.
