NBA Finals ratings

Looks like the NBA Finals, Game #2 got "whacked" by The Sopranos.

According to the Associated Press, "The San Antonio Spurs' 103-92 victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers on Sunday night drew a 6.9 overnight rating on ABC, down 24 percent from last year's 9.1 for Game 2 between the Dallas Mavericks and Miami Heat. Ratings for "The Sopranos" finale on HBO were not immediately available."

Red face Re: NBA Finals ratings

The 2006 playoffs were disappointing to me. Playoff games are only exciting when they are 4-2 or 4-3
Not 4-0. That's just ridiculous. Cleveland should've played better and Varejao kept hurling the ball from halfcourt when they were only behind by 2 points and had 3 seconds left.

Ah, if only saying it made it so. Would've been nice had they been more competitive!

Re: NBA Finals ratings

i bet the NBA ratings are up this year so far compared to this point last year ...... i havent watched a complete game since MJ was with the Bulls (and im not a huge basketball fan, and for sure not a Bulls fan.. but i found him that amazing) ..... but, i watched the entire first game for the Celtics to see how well the NBA version of the triplets played

Strictly depends on which teams are in the Finals and which players are in and the stories involved.

Thumbs down Re: NBA Finals ratings

Yao seems to be getting more PPG now. I think it's up to 21 or something.

The Rockets will make the playoffs, but there is a very high chance that they won't win.
