Prior to the start of the 2009 Nationwide Series season, Nationwide Insurance announced the Dash 4 Cash program. Aimed at creating additional support for the teams in the Nationwide Series, the program provides an extra incentive at four stand-alone series events this season.

This is a cleverly disguised effort by Nationwide to reward the NWS "regulars" who are NOT Cup regulars. In order to be eligible for the cash, the driver must qualify and compete in every NWS race during the season. Don't know the details of the schedule, so don't know if they've made it "very difficult" for the Cup guys to compete for the bucks or not.

guess I should have read the article better .. they've not made it easy for the Cup guys.

Here's the schedule layout:

Race 1: Nashville 4/11 (Cup: off for Easter)
Race 2: Kentucky 6/13 (Cup: 6/14 Michigan)
Race 3: Iowa 8/1 (Cup: 8/2 Pocono)
Race 4: Memphis 10/24 (Cup: 10/25 Martinsville)
