He did good. The ESPN crew commented on him. They quoted him sayin he wasn't there just to run laps.

Good for Morgan. I figured he would've been start and park 10 years ago, and here he is seemingly getting stronger every week.

Dang it. You mean he had a decent race and I missed it? I'm glad he did. For some reason I like him.

I don't think you need a reason to like Morgan. How can anyone not like him? Back in his cup prime, he was almost a mirror image of what Carl Edwards is now, only tons more religious. NASCAR's number one nice guy in my book. One the more under-rated drivers ever too. Only 5 wins or so, but whether it was Cliff Stewart, Jack Beebe, Bob Rahilly and Butch Mock, Bud Moore, the Woods or anyone else, he always brought the car home solidly and safely, and often in the top 10.

How can you not like a man who has more fun at the track then some drivers that arent even half his age. It was cool as hell to see the elder statesman rollin around the track on rollerskates.

Re: no longer a ''start n' park''

I don't know... I didn't watch the race (won't when there are more than four Chosen 35 Cup driver in the field) so maybe Morgan's had a turn around but the past 3-4 years he's looking more and more like another James Harvey Hylton, a pathetic retiree who is clinging onto what was with desperation. But, maybe Morgan has somehow turned the corner and it's working. I would like to think so. As Wilks, what's not to admire about the guy?

This Cup Lite Series is breaking my heart. I have been a Brenden Gaughn fan since his second year in CTS and I see he got a top ten and led some laps yesterday. I would like to watch him but I just can't bring myself to watch BGN and what it's become. However I did see that there were, I believe, only nine of The Chosen in the field yesterday. Maybe things are getting better?

I guess thats what it is, he never complains and just seems to enjoy himself. Gotta love the ones that always seem to enjoy it no matter how bad the day was for them, instead of crying about what happened to them.

Re: no longer a ''start n' park''

Good for Morgan.

I heard one of the announcers say where he got the car (don't remember that now tho) But I do remember them saying Tony gave him the engines he is running this year. I think that is cool on Smoke's part.

Re: no longer a ''start n' park''

That was one of the bad things about NA_CAR's lower tier series. They just never had the money to fund all of the teams the way they needed in order to be able to compete.
