With their NHL seasons now over, at least five Nashville Predators will be making the journey to Moscow to represent their respective countries at the 2007 IIHF World Championship. Nashville's skilled defense corps will have quite a presence at the international competition, with defensemen Dan Hamhuis and Shea Weber playing for Canada, Ryan Suter playing for the U.S. and Marek Zidlicky playing for the Czech Republic. Rookie winger Alexander Radulov, who set franchise records for goals and points by a first-year player this season, will suit up for the host country, Russia.
