Predators vs. Oilers

With the win Nashville (48-21-7) moved two points ahead of the Detroit Red Wings for top spot in the Western Conference and the Central Division after the Wings had moved into a temporary tie for first with a point from a shootout loss earlier in the day.

Vokoun earns fifth shutout as Predators prey on Oilers in 4-0 win

Re: Predators vs. Oilers

Nashville needed this win, having lost 4 of their last 5 coming into the Edmonton game.

Re: Predators vs. Oilers

Would be awesome if we can hold off the others & keep the top spot going into the Stanley Cup Playoffs. But we've had so many injuries recently that I'm not surpised at the losses. So I'd rather the Preds focus on getting healthy than have them come back too soon & risk our chance at bringing the Stanley Cup to Nashville

Re: Oilers Predators Game

Four combined goals... looks like that was one heck of a third period.
