NEW YORK (CP) - Nashville Predators forward Scott Nichol has been suspended for nine games after sucker-punching Buffalo Sabres defenceman Jaroslav Spacek in the head.

Nashville forward Scott Nichol suspended for nine games for punch to Spacek
