| Bob's Trivia Here is one you folks might have some fun with: When and where was NASCAR's Grand National (a hint as to era) first night race on what it considered to be a superspeedway? Don't bother with answering Charlotte or Daytona. That isn't it.

I may have asked this one in here before. If so, please forgive Ol' Teflon-Brain here. When you get old, the mind is always the first to go. |

The following quote from my question is germane: "...Grand National (a hint as to era) first night race on what it considered to be a superspeedway?" |

OK Here's another one. I fear this one is too easy but on short notice what do you expect? Part I Talladega is NASCAR's longest official non-road course track at 2.66 miles. What is the shortest track NASCAR's major circuit has ever held a race on? How long is/was the track? How many races did they run there? How many winners can you name? | Re: Bob's Trivia Quote:
That would be Islip Speedway in NY a 1/5th mile track. Don't know the other answers unless I look it up, which I won't. As for the previous question...Raleigh Speedway...I attended races there as a youngster, but mostly Sportsman/Modified races held on the 1/4 mile track there. The quarter mile track was like the ones at Charlotte/Lowes, Atlanta and other tracks of today. By this I mean a small track in a big one, both having the same frontstretch. Did attend one GN race at Raleigh. |
