With all this speculation about Budweiser and Hendrick, I was wondering if anyone remembers who the driver was who drove the #25 when Bud was on the hood?

not kidding. I really don't remember .. so I have to take your word for it especially since you have the t-shirt

Kenny Schrader drove it before him, and I think that may even be the car he got his last win in!

Wally Dallenbach also drove it for a bit, and I think Randy Lajoie got a shot in it for a few races.



But the best driver of the 25 came before Bud! Tim Richmond!!!!

As I recall the first Hendrick driver to have Bud on the hood was Kenny Schrader. It was when the Folger's sponsorship went to Roush and Mark Martin.

However, if I recall correctly the first cars to carry Bud on the hood were Junior Johnson's #11 and #12 with DW and Neil Bonnet driving in 1984.
