In Winston Cup it was Driver Formerly Known as Geoff (Geoffry) Bodine. 4/29/84 at Martinsville in the Levi Garrett #5 Chev.

Damn, I may have at least gotten the driver right! (i hope). Tim Richmond seemed to rule Riverside, maybe that is why I was thinking of Riverside!

Pretty good memory to know the date as well!
