Besides Goodyear and Hoosier, what three other companies have supplied tires for Nascar ?

Wow! Great question...

I haven't researched it but here is what I pretty much know:

Goodyear had had every champ since 1968. They began having NASCAR test for them in 1954.

I believe Petty won the '67 championship on Firestones and the USAC drivers which ran some NASCAR races that year also ran Firestones.

BF Goodrich (I THINK) also had NASCAR try their tires and McCorory (sp?) runs NASCAR in the BGNN or Mod Featherlite Mod series.

I also remember reading an advertisement a looooong time ago that a driver running Fisk tires won one back in the 50's.

FYI, If you go down far enough in the attached link, you'll read where Firestone/Bridgestone and Michlien are both trying to oust Goodyear after 2007. Toyota has already ran some tests on a tire designed specifically for NASCAR.
