Finally, it looks like NASCAR is going to start allowing tracks to offer ticket insurance, which will allow people to get a refund if a race rains out and they can't be there for the make-up date. This is long overdue, and according to delawareonline.com, Dover will be the first to offer this service for a modest fee.

That's good to hear! Hopefully this will include all the events at the track that weekend. I went to Pocono a few years back and had Arca tickets, it rained out and they gave us a raincheck for the next Arca race(A year later). Nice to be out almost $100CDN at the time of 50% exchange rate.

Yep, they have been running commercials for it. I'll be getting it. I could;t go to the last race in June on Monday. And it really sucks being 9 miles from it, and driving the other way to go to work on a race day!

But the part that really stings is being stuck paying for it. I'd rather just go, and I usually take the Monday off after it. But we have been so dry here, I thought I was safe. Kind of my fault!
