Great news everybody!! I got several pictures of the creation of our Miles the Monster!! The company (A.C.I. composites) that was contracted to create him, is one of our customers. I got permission from them to come by and take pictures. The guys working on him said that he will be leaving his birth location of Lancaster, PA in mid April to head to his new home at the Dover Motor Speedway as the biggest new attraction of the Dover Fanzone. Hope that you enjoy the photos, I will stop by and take more pictures as they continue to sculpt Miles the Monster and add them to the thread as his creation continues to complete him. Just wait until you see how huge this thing is, it is totally cool!!

Close up of prototype sent for approval to Dover, in front of the actual composite of Miles the Monster. The guys told me that the scale was 1 inch equals 1 foot, if I remembered correctly, I will verify that information.

I was approximately 20 feet away from him. He was just foamed yesterday. He will get foamed again, then they will cut and sculpt the foam and finish him in fiberglass. Sand and shape Miles the Monster into a mold of pefection!!

I was underneath the Miles the Monster composite and approximately 5 - 10 feet back.

I believe the steel rod cage in the fore ground is the right bicep structure for the composite.

I asked them, "How are you going to transport the Miles composite to the Dover Fanzone?" They said, "He will be cut into sections. Head - being one unit, arms - each separate, and his torso will be sectioned into 3 sections.
