I'm heading over to ACI composites to see how the Miles the Monster project is coming along. Will continue to add more photos.

These are great Team Yates. Since I'm an old 18 wheeler driver, I'd be interested to see how they transport it to Dover when the time comes. If you could get some pics of that, I'd like to see them.

I am going to try!! This week I am going to try and contact the owner of ACI composites about future pictures, which may be taking place inside, and dates on the move, so I can get pictures of that. I asked the guys who were working on it, they said that Miles the Monster will be sectioned. His head - one section, each arm - one section, and the torso sectioned into three pieces. Also, the guys had told me that they already have the car, that it is inside, I'd like to get pictures of the car. I'm going to make a set of prints, put them in a small album and give it to the owner. I'm glad that you like the pictures. I have more to add from today.

Looking good! Better than the grounds at Dover! I haven't seen much progress since my last photos of the area! I was just by there on Wednesday, and not much to report there!

I will be there for the premiere, and will get some photos of the completed Miles on Display.

I met and spoke with Dwight Miller, the owner of A.C.I. Composites on Tuesday, 3/25/08. I inquired about the "glowing" red eyes that Miles the Monster will be sporting. In response he said, "Yes, they will be lighted." I asked him about Miles weight, he said that is the million dollar question, but that they are guessing around 60,000 pounds!! He said that they will know the answer once they section him, the crane will weigh each piece. Also that Miles the Monster will be sectioned in mid April. He will be finished in Dover. I have a few more photos to add, but I'm waiting to add them as I plan on stopping by after work tomorrow. Will add both days at the same time.
