| Re: Gordon continues to cry Exactly right Nevadastars. Of all people to be crying and whining after a Bristol race. Riggs showed too much patience I think, the 24 would have moved him alot earlier in the race. |

That move Scott made there could have spun Jeff out and thats not the way to pass at Bristol atleast late in the race. YOu normally lay the bumper and just make the guy ahead of a little loose, he'll drift to the top abit and you pass him on the bottom. Jeff was trying to tell that to Riggs, but his head was too large that he was running in the top 5 to listen to someone who has been in the top 5 more times than Riggs will ever have in his entire racing career. Anywho, no bad blood. We move on. Thank God Bristol is over. A solid top 5 from Cali and I think we can survive Richmond with a top 30 finish if things get too bad. Woohoo! |

| Re: Gordon continues to cry Hey Dupont did you see the same race and post race interview. Sure he would have liked to have been better at the end and he did say that. But he also complained about how and where Riggs passed him. Said he was concerned about being spun out, he should have been as much as he slowed Riggs up for alot of the race. Scott was a gentlemen and raced him clean and should be commended for it. That team needed a good run. The 24 never would have raced him that way, said he should have been passed on the straightaway. Has the 24 ever moved or dumped anyone in a turn before? Let's see maybe Rusty has an answer to that question. |

Bottom line is....... he DID NOT wreck him and Gordo only lost one spot. When Scott went up to him to tell him it was a good race, Jeff should have just admitted defeat and been done with it. But nooooo, he had to do the Holier-than-Thou, whiney thing he is so good at. He should have just been a man about it and moved on. He did the same thing to Rusty for a win a few years ago, but that was perfectly ok in his book. Like I said, double standards for Jeffy as usual. Oh, and welcome to the forum DEI MIDWEST! | Re: Gordon continues to cry After watching the replays after the TNT interview "Scott Riggs had to race me really hard there to get that position. He was definitely lot better. I am just not sure why we didn't have a better car there. We were really good at one time with the DuPont Chevrolet, we drove up there and took the lead, we got tight and just could never get freed up enough. It was a great job and a great run for Scott." got it from race2win.net |
