Ok Grandma. Carl said he was just hot under the collar, and should have cooled down but didn't. He said it's over and him and Jr are cool now. He says they will be racin together for a long time.

Yeah, he's a really good guy. If you're that passionate about something, things like that are going to happen,... I like how he admitted that if Jr would have wrecked too, he wouldn’t have been as mad. HA.

I don't want to go on a rant here, but...

Darn I like to watch Carl race and do his signature flips. I don't especially care for Junior and his complaining about his team/car but the kid's heart is in the right place and he's definately a better than average driver.
But Carl... drilling another driver with his car after the checkered flag is S-T-U-P-I-D and just plain wrong! If you want to retaliate, wait until after the race and then [attempt to] kick his ass! Why cause your teams body men any extra work and possibly cause some driver not even involved in the fracas damage (knocking Jr's car into them)?

Carl is a big enough boy that he doesn't have to resort to chicken-**** actions like the ones I saw him display on the replays I watched.

$20K and "probation?" Gawd, what a slap on the wrist! $20K is "walkin' around" money for a guy in Edwards' tax bracket. And "Probation???" GIVE ME A BREAK! What does this mean? If he screws up again he'll then get "double probation?"

Maybe they should have taken away Cup Lite points? To the Cup Raiders who use the Busch Series as their own private little hunting preserve to get easy money and get extra practice, this really means a lot!

Carl, want a suggestion on how to handle things like this? (You don't but I'll say it anyway) Wait until after the race then, away from the camera and media, just go up and, if you don't get verbal satisfaction, drill the supposed offender right in his brew-guzzling mouth, irregardless of who he is or how many of his crew or "posse' is around. Then stand by for retaliation.

NASCAR, want a suggestion of how to handle infractions like Carls' last week? (You don't but I'll say it anyway) No fine, no points, no silly probation. Just sit them and their team on the bench for X number of races.

This last should go for Cup and Cup Lite, but it is especially important in Cup Lite. The Raiders come to Cup Lite for the above mentioned reasons (money and extra practice). Plus they race in a no lose situation. They take chances they wouldn't take in their Cup car because they don't have the prestigious Cup title on the line, they have Cup-level equipment and technology in their corner, they don't have the specter of having to make money in the race hanging over their heads, and they don't have to fear retaliation from the Busch regulars for any liberties they take in their Cup Lite endeavors.

But NASCAR is so afraid that the driver fans won't show up to watch their beloved Cup Raiders run roughshod over the Busch drivers that they won't change a thing. In fact, I have been told (third-hand) that before Daytona this season NASCAR privately told the BGN personnel to NOT make any disparaging statements to any media about the Cup Raiders in any Busch race. Any team making any statement other than how great and wonderful it is for the Cup drivers to grace the Busch Series with their exalted presence would be smited greatly.

But then, I could be very wrong, but...?
