This is just my personal opinion but do you think Crocker is having an affair with Evernham? He is always trackside with her-I know that is the owner but it just seems their a little close if you catch my meaning!

Look at it from this point oif view since nothing evil is known for sure. He is the owner of the car she is driving. How much do you think the media will pay attention to her if she can make it to the cup series? I would guess she would constantly being interviewed and constantly mentioning whoever the sponsor is. That in turn turns into big bucks. Big bucks for who ??? The sponsor and good ole Ray. With the publicity she is already getting he is either doing his job of promoting her or she is a good enough driver.

Personally I don't care if they are haing a relationship. It's something personal between them and should stay just that way. Until one of them admits to it, it doesn't exist .... only in the minds of the media and those who love to gossip.

That's just my opinion.

I realize that men often think with the wrong head but you guys really don't think there is an affair going on, do you. Obviously she seems attached to him at the hip because he has got to convince everybody what a good driver she is so they will throw the money at them. Beside Ray's wife ( I assume he is married, I know he has a son because he had cancer a few years back) would clean him out dividing up the ol' assets. I think people are just thinking something is going on because because she is female.

What was the "maritial indescretions" or whatever they called it that Jeff Gordon suppositly did to cause his divorce. I can't imagine that he had time for an affair. What with all the sponser commitments, travel, testing, etc. I would think there wouldn't be enough time.

Last I heard he was separated from his wife. Yes many men do think with their little brain but until something can be proven why perpetuate an unfounded rumor ??? I don't get it. How would you feel if untruths were being spread about you ? Look at your local newspaper and you will find that the articles about bad events far outweigh the number of good stories. No one wants to buy a paper, watch a news program , listen to a braodcast or any other media event that tells stories about what a great job little Billy is doing in the third grade. Let little Billy smoke pot and BINGO it is news ..... BAD news and it is in the medias hands. It is entirely possible that Erin Crocker is "attached to his hip" because she wants more in her career and by being the apple in the boss's eye can't hurt.

Until something official is announced from Evernham himself it is all a product of the rumor mill which is as good as a lie.

It looks as though two of us have the same opinion. This one may rank down there with the infamous Jeff Gordon Affairs.

One aside thought: IF the rumors have some merit, do you think Mary Everham will use the same lawyer Brooke Gordon did? <g>
