I'm flying to Atlanta for the Bass Pro Shops 500 for my first ever NASCAR experience and have a couple questions:
- Should I try to camp out or just get a hotel nearby? I'm not sure that I can bring enough stuff on the plane to make camping work (tent, sleeping bags, etc.).
- What time should I plan on arriving, is it similar to NFL tailgating?
- Anything else a newbie should know? It will be only my cousin and me

I'm sure I have many other questions, but I'm not sure what to ask...thanks

GET THE HOTEL!!! It may cost you $225-$250 per nite, maybe less if you stay near the airport..but you will be glad you did when your tired butt hits the pillow. Also I don't know if you have ever been to Atlanta but it is a BIG town.....leave enough time not to miss the flight back.

Oh yeah....take lots of money for spending at the track....it's more fun that way...and Have FUN
