i'm really a new fan of nascar didnt get into it till i moved in with my roommate last spring he is a big gear head.

It might seem like a simple question, but why in sport where everyone works with the same machines almost due some dominate certin tracks more then others? Is just how often they have raced there?

I thiink the answer to you question is like an algebric equation, as in like the value of pi...there are multiple things that vary in race cars...different engines, different set-up, different driver response and level of skill (mental & physical), different fuel/air mixture in the carb...who knows....???

But the inportant part of your post is that you consider yourself a fan of NASCAR.....keep watching & posting......you will see the light

Well, one of the reasons is that you don't have to be a ton faster to dominate. If you're the fastest car by 1/10th of a second per lap, you're gonna look like you dominate because you're gonna have a big lead after 30 laps.

There are SOOO many ways to make little adjustments on your car that can each make a little difference. All you gotta do is find a little better combination of tweaks than everybody else and you're golden. At least in theory
