Someone came up with the idea to move the Southern 500 from its rightful home in Darlington to PenskeLand, then change the name to the Sony HD 500. May that guy have the fleas from 1000 rabid camels alight upon his scrotum and commence chewing!

Daily Show first...This could be really funny, or really uncomfortable.


Dale Earnhardt Jr., will become the first NASCAR driver to appear on Comedy Central's The Daily Show with Jon Stewart. Earnhardt will be on the show at 10 p.m. Thursday.
Earnhardt has a wry sense of humor and is not as shallow as he seems. He could jump right into Stewart's eye-rolling, putdown sense of humor and have some fun.
But Earnhardt also can put a wall around himself if he doesn't like the line of questioning. That could happen, too.
Give Stewart and his staff credit. Getting Earnhardt to appear will translate into a huge bump in ratings. There is no more popular driver in NASCAR, and no driver has fans as loyal.

I think I could think of at least a dozen shows Junior could have gone on. A person is known by the company they keep, and just being in Jon Stewart's company, I don't care how much money is changing hands, is demeaning. I hope Jr can hold his own but, whenever I've attempted to watch either Stewart or Cobert, I'm watched them demean American values and traditions.

My immediate thought is, no matter what age group Junior's agent is trying to get him to appeal to, the agent should be shot. My bet is that they'll try and make Junior look like a rednecked Neanderthal who is trying to perform in a venue masquerading as sport.

O.K. I 'll change gears here, I was watching speedchannel lastnight around 9pm maybe it windtunnel not sure,

anyways they had "anger minute" where a reporter at Indy ragged on NASCAR for JJ winning after all his problem, he said there were competition cautions just for JJ, I didn't see the race but what do you guy's think of that ????

is NASCAR playing favorites, were there tire problems to justify cautions .

how is it that JJ only win when he has problems and over comes them for such a story book tale ??

Yes NASCAR is trying everything in their power to make sure that Jimmie wins the championship! Maybe they should just hand Jimmie the championship right now!

Johnson had a good car, but, he should had to have come from a lap down to win the race. The yellow was suppost to fly at lap 40. It flew moments after #48 blew a tire at the start of lap 39(suprise suprise). The first yellow flew at lap 16 one lap after it was suppost to fly at lap 15. Like I said.. he had a good car but should of had to come from one lap down. Another "timely" caution. Anyone else would have been one lap down.

Totally off of the JJ topic for a minute.

At one point in the race after Stewart passed Bowyer, the announcers were quoting Bowyer and said basically if the 07 caught up to the 20 there were going to be problems (paraphrasing of course). The also said when the 20 passed him, Stewart roughed him up. Am I the only one who caught that and was there anything else said about this? They didn't even bother showing the replay. What gives?

Pirate I'm not sure what the announcers was seeing. It may just have been some more canned drama. Then again I could be wrong. I didn't see anything.
