I love Lord of the Rings! I almost went on a Lord of the Rings Tour in New Zealand this year, but I didn't get to go! My dog that passed away from the food contamination his name was Mr. Frodo aka Spot the Dot! My shepards pulled thru thank goodness! Anyway, I love Harry Potter too. I have the extended versions of Lord of the Rings and the regular version as well and the books! Their going to make the movie The Hobbit!

I am so sorry to hear that your pets were affected by the food contamination. It's very scary. As of yesterday, they were still pulling more food off the shelves. Thankfully, my 3 cats and my dog were not affected.

I hope you know you have legal recourse.

Thanks Team and Penelope! I'm so careful now about what I buy. I only buy dry food and soft food that has corn gluten in the ingredients and treats. My shepards were sick and throwing up but that when it first happened. They are healthy now. I had to buy a new beagle I was really depressed. He is 10 weeks now and his name is Spark Plug Junior. Junior is for Dale Jr. At night he likes to curl around on my head put his head on mine and one of his paws on my face! LOL!

I don't know if your vet told you, but Menu Foods will reimburse your veterinary costs. Unfortunately, they have no sympathy for the emotional loss.

Last I heard was there is a "class-action" suit (whatever that is) against Menu Foods building.

This also has brought to light the "animal testing" Iams does. The Humane Society is all over Menu Foods.
