Gibbs ready and waiting with ride for Motocross racer

LONG POND, Pa. (AP) - If Motocross racer Ricky Carmichael wants to give NASCAR a try, Joe Gibbs Racing will find a seat for him.

FOX Sports - NASCAR - Gibbs ready and waiting with ride for Motocross racer

Im not sure about this. Going from a dirt bike that ways not more than 300 pounds to a 3400 lb race car, in traffic at 185? I dont like the sound of that.

I couldn't find the story with the above link, couldn't find it on foxsports either, probably my system. I heard Ricky say he might give it a try, this would be a surprise. Leave the door wide open for James Steward, my favorite rider anyway. At lease he don't suck. He wins or wrecks

That may be what they want and need, someone who is crazy on a bike would have the guts to get behind the wheel of a car and push the limits.
