Ryan Newman qualified second fastest on Friday, but he had the day’s two best lines.
First, he was asked if he and Tony Stewart have patched up any lingering issues from last week’s incident at New Hampshire. Newman said he hopes so.
"He invited me over to go fishing," Newman said. "Either he wants to drown me or he thinks I’m a good fishing buddy."
And then someone asked him if he gets the same feedback from new teammate Kurt Busch than he did from former teammate Rusty Wallace. "No," Newman said. "I talk to Kurt."

One of my fav's is when Sterling Marlin called Greg Biffle a "bug eyed dummy". That was a road course 2 or 3 yrs ago.

And Gma, that was a hilarious comment by Newman, lol!!

Kenny Wallace just said on Raceday program that with the race starting at 3:30 "the fans get an extra hour of drinking time"....I fell off the couch!!! Screaming at my hubby..."can u believe he just said that??"

What a positive view of Nascar fans to put out there bunch of drunks
