Ready for the chase? Who will make the 1st move and finish well at NHIS? Who's gonna stink it up with a poor showing?

NH can be a difficult track. In looking at the history Newman has done relatively well here. Since he has had a less than stellar year I don't suspect he will be a major factor. Tony has a lot to prove now with nothing to lose. He's out, can't get in and as always has an attitude. Kahne has a ton to prove. Even though he has the most wins for the year he just barely made it into the chase. Martin could be in his last year (yeah .... right !!!) so he and Jack will be trying real hard. Jeff has been there and done that. He still has a lot of years to get three more trophys. Jimmie can taste it but will Chad be able to "Knaus" his way into victory lane without being caught ? Burton wants to win but it appears that they just haven't fine tuned the team just yet. Dale Jr has as good a chance as any of them if he can keep an engine in the car.

But wait ... there will be 30 plus other drivers trying to win this race also. I forgot about them !!

i dont really know what to think about this week, i am just so happy that 2 rcr cars made it to the chase and i am happy that khane made it.

but i do hope that stweart will maybe be passin johnson for the lead and blow a tire and take them both out.

This should be a great race. This race proved last year it can take out contenders, so this is a wild card race in my opinion. Burton will probably fall out in the end of the race like he normally does, Johnson will have a late surge as normal, Gordon will be a contender for this race if he can keep the brakes on the car, Kesneth will be good, Kahne has tons to prove, Dale Jr will be a contender if he can keep the engine in the car, Hamlin may be good, not sure about him, Kyle Busch will be good, Harvick will be good, and Martin may be good, not sure about him. All 10 of these drivers will be good, but there are also 33 other drivers looking to win as well.

With the new banking, Loudon is a much better track to race on that it was in previous years. Kyle Busch won the first race this year, and I believe has a good shot at doing it again. He has been keeping the bonehead part of him locked away the past dozen races or so, so he will be a threat. Denny Hamlin was about the only car that had a chance of running Busch down but ran out of gas at the end.

I'm actually looking forward to the race this weekend, a race I didnt usually care for when it was a flat track.

Of the guys in the playoff, Burton has four wins here and Jeffie has three. Johnson has two.

I'd say it'll be a toss up because, mostly, the playoff drivers will just be looking for a top ten finish and not worrying about a win.

My bet would be on either Harvick, Kahne or Hamlin. I think any of those three'll actually try and win it.
