Now I am not referring to any particular driver ( JUST TO CLEAR THAT UP RIGHT OFF THE BAT)....But if I was a driver and I wanted retailiation, regardless of where I was in points, I would wait till after the Chase began to make my move. Then it's like a double wammy

Hypothetical situation:

Gordon is in 9th or 10th place in points at Richmond. Kenseth is still 2nd. As the race progresses, Matt decides it’s payback time. They have a incident that takes both drivers out of the race. Matt ends up 7th in points but Jeff is knocked down to 14th, out of The Chase.

I don’t think any driver would stoop so low, but theoretically anything is possible.

I think that Matt and Jeff are smart enough to realize that they are even, and further controversy between them would only bring penalties to each other, they are two of the premiere drivers and getting along will only help them, seeing as how they are usually hovering somewhere around the front together. That kind of premeditated retaliation just would'nt happen, not with a stand up guy like Kenseth.

It will be hard to prove Matt had anything to do with it, and there are 5 Roush cars verses 4 Hendrick cars...... I got to stop... The "Roushketeers" would have to learn to play as a team in that case, something they have NO idea how to do.
