ok since my Gordo thread was such a hit, let's see how this one does


just how much does Jr need to be given before he can prove himself ?

he has every possible advantage

huge amounts of money, and a great experienced crew

his dad is argueably the greatest driver ever, you would think some of it would rub off

if he isnt doing well it seems it is likely to be blamed on his crew chief

with all he has been handed you would think he should be right at the top of the points almost all the time

lemme see...Jr. has every possible advantage? If he did, he would have made the chase last year. A lot of his technique and skill did rub off, but not the "tenassity" of his father. There is no doubt that Sr. was "The Intiminator". Jr. didn't want to fall in those footsteps. He wants to everything "on his own", not just following his father's legacy!

Why does Dale Jr have to be anyone but himself? He's a personality, a resonablely good driver. He is loved by many, I don't think that is just because of his Dad. To be honest I would not like him if he was more like his father. I was not a Senior fan and I don't think being a Kasey fan That I need to explain why to anyone here. Jr doen't suck. It's just that simple.
