For what it's worth, the car she started this year in was garbage. Rahal finally made the switch to the better cars and it's going to take them some time to figure them out. She's ahead of teammate Buddy Rice in the point standings...I think. It would take her some time, but I think she could handle it eventually. Mark Martin isn't all that big either is he? Her father was a guest of Rousch so I would imagine she'd be in the 26 if she were to make the jump. I would rather her go to a good team in the IRL like Penske or Ganassi. Then there would be no excuses, and I suspect she would win...a lot.

Penske or Ganassi would be good for her, but I definately think The Cat In The Hat would make an offer to her, I guess we'll wait and see

Remember when Scott Pruitt came to cup? He always qualified well, but the pack treated him as a pinball and usually ended up in the wall. I think you would have the same results with Ms. Patrick. Sad to say, but I feel is the truth. Although I would root for her if she made Cup, as I love the underdogs to do well.

I saw Ms. Patrick on one of the late talk shows last night. Her father is exploring the NASCAR scene. Danica gave it about a 10% chance, but midway through the interview it jumped to 20% chance at the Cup.


Everyone knows that there is no comparison to exposure with it comes to NASCAR vs. open wheel and chicks, including Danica, want the exposure – just look at all the photo shoots.


With exposure comes the $$$$$$ and NASCAR has o’plenty of that.


Hot babe + exposure + NASCAR = MEGA SUPER CASH.


If this thing ever goes through, the MAN will make it very clear that the new kid on the block will not be harmed in any shape or form.


By the way, ole Danica has some really big Popeye arms.

I would think that they would try her in the Busch series or maybe even ARCA just to let her get a feel for the car. If she were to get bounced around then she'd know where she stands. If she were to do well then it might be worth the chance to move forward. I also believe there is a big difference between her and Erin Crocker. I think that Danica commands more respect as a driver than Erin. You don't just jump into an open wheel race car and finish as well as she has without some abilities. Time will tell but I hope she doesn't just try to get into the top series right away. The minor leagues offer a lot of training ... if you can keep some of the cup drivers out of it.

I seen Danica on some show, I don't remember which one, but she said that she wasn't coming to nascar next year. She also said that she was checking her options, and some day yes she would love to drive the cup cars, just wasn't sure when.

I heard today that Michael Andretti offered her a ride for next season, so she's staying!!!! That should be a great combination!!!!!
