Kenny Irwin

I wanted to start this thread on the 7th, as that is the date that we lost Kenny, but I decided to wait until a little later because I'm also starting a thread about Adam Petty, as we are heading to the track that they bost lost their lives. I liked Kenny from watching the truck races where he drove the Raybestos truck, then he headed to Nascar to join the Yates team and drive the #28 and become the rookie of the year. I was disappointed when he left Yates to go to the #42 of Felix Sabates. This thread is for all Kenny comments and thoughts.

Re: Kenny Irwin

That was before I watched Nascar, but I wish I would have gotten to see both him and Adam Petty race.

You should have seen when he threw his kneepads at Stewart after Tony wrecked him at Martinsville, I think it was. He was PO'd! It must have been Tonys rookie season.

Dare to dream is a great organization that my company (which will remain anon.) has donated to since we found out about it. A true "gift" for kids.

That's totally awesome!!!! It does sound like a great opportunity for kids to get away from their problems, if only for a small amount of time, but I'm sure their memories will last a life time. Glad to have you aboard!!!
