Todd Kluever says he is ready for July 7, when he attempts to qualify for his Nextel Cup debut at Chicagoland Speedway.
The Roush Racing driver, 16th in the Busch Series standings, hopes to make his Nextel Cup debut at Chicago in the No. 06 Ford. The Wisconsin native already has been anointed as the driver of Roush Racing's No. 6 Nextel Cup car to replace Mark Martin for next season, and the race in Chicago is his first step toward that point.

He should, from the cup series that is. He would've last year but stayed on out of loyalty to help Roush procure sponsorship for the 6.

Hey guys!!!! I can't wait for this weekend! Wonderful Chicago weather & cars, a girls dream! I was having a BAD time trying to get reservations, but I found the Holiday Inn only 15 min. away & they have rooms!!! So I hope this helps some of you out if you were stuck like I was

Welcome to the board! I tried to get tickets to this weekend's race, but everywhere I looked, they were wanting too much. Just opted to go to the Brickyard instead.
