If Dale sr. were still alive and he knocked a driver from the lead all would be fine and nobody would really give a damn. If Gordon does it its terrible and people hate him for it. I know he would wine about it if he got hit but most drivers do when they get taken out.

Like I said in a previous thread, Dale Sr., .... Apples and Oranges, if Gordon wouldn't wine and cry after said happening and just return the favor at a later time and place.... it wouldn't be so bad... but the fact that he wines and complains about it like it's so wrong when it's done to him, then goes out and does it like it's perfectly acceptable for him to do it to someone else, is like the pot calling the kettle black. Apples and Oranges or Symantics wth you like to call it.

As I have said before I'm not going to defend Gordo as he is not one of my favorites. What does need to be said is that Dale Sr. is gone and NASCAR Justice has changed dramatically since his death. They are passing out fines and point penalties but it just isn't being done on a level playing field. If you take a long look through these threads you'll find the majority of negative statements relate to Gordo. Yes others do get bashed but not to the extent that Gordo gets it. Yes I have been a part of the bashing but my point is 1.) Gordo is the more disliked current driver. 2.) NASCAR justice is junk. 3.) you cannot compare Dale Sr.'s exploits with todays current justice system within NASCAR.

You said it LSC, Sr. may have done the same thing that Gordon did, but he would not have whinned about it or even tried to apologize for it. Also, he would not have tried to say that everything was ok from before. Dale, Sr., in my opinion, was just like an enforcer in hockey!!!

Well thats just plain goofy, who cares if he apologized or not, the actions were the same and the results were the same. The majority of disgruntled fans fall in 2 categories. 1- The #3 fans, they fear the 24 will catch and pass their driver. 2- The #8 fans, they fear the 8 car will never catch the 24 car. Thats what it boils down to. I get so cracked up going to races and hearing the 8 fans go nuts when Jr. passes a lap car. Most have no clue that it is a lap car let alone what a lap car is. Ignorance is truly indeed bliss.

C'mon folks, everyone that get's the bump and run pulled on them whine's about it after the fact. Look at the busch race last week! Kevin Harvick pissed and moaned that Paul Menard wouldn't pull over and let him go by even though Paul had the faster car. He never said anything on T.V. but his little stunt of blocking Paul at the entrance of the pit's was all he needed to do! He is as big of a cry baby as they come and verbally cut down his pit crew afterwards on the radio. If I was Paul Menard It would have been hard not to dump the clutch and tear the front of his car off! He got what he deserved in that race. No one I know of in NNC acts that bad!
