The Call? Conspiracy or coincidence?

It is a long-rumored but rarely spoken of constant of NASCAR life. Like the Bermuda Triangle or Big Foot, its existence is never in doubt, yet never proven. Few in the garage dare speak its name aloud, but all have believed in its existence.

I can hardly wait, red hot issue.

Should I.... hmmmmm.... ah hell why not. I believe there are times it's evident that someone high up in Nascar is letting things go by. Ex. Chad Knaus cheats, Hendrick and Johnson suffers no points loss( Hence why I've always said that JJ is being set up with a championship). JJ dominating "LOWES motorspeedway". You do the math. Jr dominating Daytona after his dad's death. He was doing that at Talladega and no one said anything. I believe there are some things going on. Oh and JJ getting timely cautions.

Re: The Call? Conspiracy or coincidence?

Is this guy serious??? Does he even know what he's saying??? detonators to burst the right front tire of any team on the outs with the league, or remote devices to pump nirtous oxide into the carbuerator of the pre scripted winner? Read that and tell me its not BS. As Harvick would say, that guy can stick it where the sun dont shine.

Re: The Call? Conspiracy or coincidence?

That was a hilarious article! But I agree with Quality with the #48 issue. Finally someone else won at Charlotte. Good job Casey! Can't say the other speedway name either, it appears I'm getting worse. First it was just the #48's name. I really loved it when Junior won. I think he just wanted to win so bad that nothing could stop him.

Re: The Call? Conspiracy or coincidence?

Now, hours after posting and having thought about it, I regret posting that Earnhardt comment. That was a but much on my part. But just to add to it, Quality88 made a good point:

I think if anything like that actualy is going on, it is one or two individuals letting something slide and nothing that Nascar itself is involved with and those individuals should be fired.

Re: The Call? Conspiracy or coincidence?

All joking aside I do think there are times with different teams/individuals that a diiferent set of rules are used. Naturally, not knowing all that NASCAR knows about any given situation, it is not possible for us to make a proper evaluation of whatever fines or penalties are imposed. What we see is one team/driver getting away with what appears to be the same thing that driver "B" just got nailed for the previous week. NASCAR doesn't have to explain the rules to us but they surely do need to enforce them equally. Does it work that way ????

Now it's your call !!!

Re: The Call? Conspiracy or coincidence?

I don't think there is "A CALL" but sometimes I think certin teams are allowed to bend the rules much futher. I think this was the case with the 29 in 2001, then he got mouthy with nascar and it was down hill after that, now I think they are a some what perfered team again, just not as perfered as a few others.

WV – Gma,

Glad that you found that article.

Of course the fix is in. That is why my boy Gordo has a very hard time winning in Atlanta when the MAN is around - and he is always there, somewhere.

Post on my brothers and sisters.

Re: The Call? Conspiracy or coincidence?

OK, who is this Ryan McGee? His piece reads as though he's a castoff from the New York Times? Ryan McGee is really a pseuonym for Richard Blair, right? (Blair was the "writer" the Times fired a couple years ago for writing phony news pieces)

I'm not a "grassy knoll-type of guy buy...??? Come to think of it, I've NEVER seen Brian France and Vince McMahon together...??? A little makeup and...
Maybe...??? Naw. Couldn't be!
