Can Bobby Do it?

Well I was wondering when the King would make a move to get his race teams turned around. I have to give Richard and Kyle Petty alot of credit for bringing in quality people to turn his race teams around. Here's hoping Bobby labonte gets the King some more wins.

Tony couldn't win there!

While Labonte may have something left in the tank, I don't think Petty Enterprises does. I'm not even sure Tony Stewart or Jeff Gordon could win there. Let's not forget, Kyle Petty was a pretty strong competitor when he raced for Felix Sabates Jr. in the #42 Mello Yellow ride. He has in the top 10 three times and posted eight wins... what's he done since in Petty equipment. It ain't the drivers, it's the organization.

Your right 4bagger, the Petty organization has been weak for 10+ years now. The drivers can't carry those cars to the front on their backs. It looks like they've finally got off their pockectbooks and put some quality people in place to help turn the ship around. Only time will tell but I like their chances to make positive improvements in performance this year. I wouldn't be surprised to see the 43 have several top 5's and maybe a backdoor win this year. I think kyle will also surprise people in a few races.

Bobby

Did anyone notice how refreshed and happy Bobby looked—he actually looks younger and healthier. (Not to mention the Grecian Formula) Also Kyle made an aggressive move near the end of the 150, looked like he was in a race…where the heck did this come from? Perhaps this is a foreshadowing of the year to come—I hope so!

I heard Bobby saying that he's working out harder these days....looks good. He needs to work on his interview skills though....dry as dust. Needs to go talk to John Force.

Go 43 / 45 !!
