Post your predictions for the first and second place finishers at the Sharpie500 presented by GoTeamsGo.com and special consideration provided by my good friend Donald Trump. The race is at Bristol Motor Speedway in Bristol, Tennessee. If you are the first to score 1st & 2nd in order, you'll get a permanent upgrade to the member title of your choice. If there's no contest winner, the most impressive guess (provided it's close) gets a 1 month title upgrade.

Bonus style points awarded for the funniest/best reasons for your picks and for listing the best desired member title.

To get the permanent upgrade, your prediction must be in before qualifying begins. We'll take predictions after qualifying but the most you can win on that is a 1 month upgrade.

There's 2 ways to win on the Sharpie500 race. If you are the 1st in this thread to pick the 1st place winner, you'll get a 1 month member title upgrade even if your #2 is a dnf.

Congratulations to last week's winner, TN_Gal. She was the very first outright winner of a weekly GoTeamsGo prediction contest. Christl correctly picked the winner of the GFS Marketplace 400 as Matt Kenseth in the #17 Roush Racing Ford. She also correctly picked Jeff Gordon to come in 2nd place at Michigan. For winning, she gets a permanent upgrade of her choice to her member title. No surprise, she's picked "Mrs. Kenseth" as her new title. I'll put in a word with Matt to see about getting him to bestow that upon you legally

Both these guys have run well at Bristol so I'm looking for each to do well.

Dammmmmit! I'm still gonna stick to the favorites at this address:

1st = Junior

2nd = Stewart

Junior would have won the Michigan race on Sunday, but Edwards did not get in front of him for intertia...maybe the two can meet towards the end of the Bristol race ??

Junior is on a roll and looked strong all week-end and Stewie is gonna rightfully defend his championship and help solidify the chase (damn, I hate that venue) opportunities....and the title: "3 Forever". By-the-way...hearty congratulations to TN_Gal...super job predicting!! Those Tennessee gals are just somthin'

Wanted to let you guys know that I accidentally deleted both the GFS 400 predictions thread & the discussion thread while trying to remove something else. Hate that we finally had a winner and I screwed that up. But we've got enough witnesses that TN_Gal is the current race prediction Goddess

I stand (and sit) in amazement at the ability of Grand ma...you just ROCK with the graphics and such a intuitive and fluid sense of humor. You should change your name from Grandma to GRAND PERSON!
