Time for some short track racing this week. We are off to the .526 mile, 12 degree banking track at Martinsville, VA.

This race will be broadcast on ABC and it'll go green at 1:45 PM. We'll go love at 1:30 PM.

A year ago Jimmie Johnson was on a 5 race winning streak. He is now in 1st place in the chase with Jeff Burton and Greg Biffle hot on his heels. Will HMS stand strong or will this be the week that Jimmie finishes 40th or worse ? Maybe Jeff Burton can do well enough to take over 1st place. Tune in and find out but in the meantime Make sure you stop by and add your prediction to the predictions thread.

Yeah, I think people are tired of the chase. And or their teams are out.

It's that time of year. People have other things to do. It's not 100 degrees outside so you spend more time outdoors instead of in front of the A/C watching TV, it's hunting season, it's football season both college and pro etc....there's a lot more to do in October than July.

Yep, low 70s here today so I took my 10 month old Miniature Doxie out for a 30 mile ride in the high desert on my quad.
