Form the June 5th issue of ESPN magazine:

"Helio Castroneves: Indy Drivers are in better shape than NASCAR drivers. Indy Drivers take thier conditioning very seriously. Tony Kanaan and Tomas Scheckter do triathlons. I'm not that strong, but I'd beat everyone in distance running. And I'm trying to lift more. To look good for the chicks."

So...how come Indy Drivers are in better shape? Does the sport demand more out of them?

I believe they do experience more G's than Nascar drivers. I mean the cars turn faster laps at tracks the cup cars race at.. that's been proven. The cars could run upside down, that's how much force they have on them. It does demand more in some aspects. Nascar drivers may not take their conditioning as seriously(ie Tony Stewart.... not starting anything Smoke), but then again Nascar drivers probably could care less about Indy drivers. I used to like the Indy series, lately though it seems to have to many arrogant higher than thow A#$%@!@# running in there.

Gotham, well conditioned please. I think you mean skinny tall men, lol. Like Helio. Helio would have to lift a ton to put on some muscle. Maybe he would lose some tude if he had some muscle.
