Re: Pocono500 Race Predictions

It appears that Ross is the only one to qualify two cars in the top 10. You may well be the second one !!!!

There was some talk that one car was going to be the Scientology sponsored car. In looking through the sponsorships on NASCAR.com I didn't see it listed. Anyone have any info about that?

It also appears that Jimmy Spencer will do a little less announcing this week. It seems that Furniture Row Racing has money to throw away on Mr. Excitement ... or is that Mr. Cause an accident??? I suspect he will be able to do some announcing not long after the race starts.

Mike Waltrip is starting 36th. Go Toyota Go !!!!!

There is a racing GOD. I don't have to listen to know-it-all dumb-dumb Jimmy during the race. But I'm sure his cronie's will do the in car thing.
Sure hope he stays out of the way and runs the whole race.
I checked the list, didn't see an entry, maybe they didn't qualify.

Church of Scientology to Sponsor NASCAR Driver

Kenton Gray, a 35-year old racecar driver from California, signed a 5-year sponsorship last month with Bridge Publications, the publisher of Dianetics. He will be racing his #27 Ford Taurus this weekend at Irwindale Speedway in a late model race.

In a move to spread their "Ignite Your Potential" message, his car's hood will say "Dianetics" and have an image of the volcano featured on the front of the book. Gray says he is honored to have them as his sponsor.

"It helped me get better control over the obstacles I had to get through to reach goals I was passionate about," he said. Although the details are not yet fully known, NASCAR officials say they don't have any issues with the sponsorship.

Re: Pocono500 Race Predictions

I don't know anyting about it other than Tom Cruise is a member and he got all over Brooke Shields about depression after her baby and he gave her the business about medication versus his beliefs. I'm happy for anyone who has religion just as I'm quite OK with the National Anthem being played prior to the race. I was just curious who was being sponsored. I got the impression it was a cup driver.
