No one wants to start that arguement becase then that forces you like it or not to talk about jeff gordon. when you start talking about gordon with some of the legends of the past, people get really bent out of shape.

I doubt it. Considerin Bill Elliot held it for many years before Jr took over. Gordon is not that well liked.

yeah, but gordon is much more popular now than he was back then. I believe you can find the results of last years vote. they will usually give the top 10 vote getters.

I couldn't find anything that gave vote totals.

One interesting thing about the 2007 vote is DEJ's win moved him into the rarified atmosphere of drivers who have won 5 consecutive MPD awards. Only 2 others have accomplished that feat: Richard Petty and Bill Elliott.

It'll be interesting to see how the 2008 vote comes out and whether Shrub makes the top 10.

The Brothers Busch, Junior, Smoke, Jeffie-Pooh or even The Felon himself, have NEVER attempted to do any of those things to me.

I think he's already under a good bit of pressure. He hasn't cracked yet, if anything he seems to be doing better.
