not close so no danger. it was in turn 4 and we were on the front straight.

in IndyCars, accidents happen so fast if you aren't specifically watching that area of the track, you miss it. we didn't even know people had been killed until we read about it the next day. that's how quick it happened.

True. I've seen Indy at Loudon a few times before the split. Those cars are so darn fast, it's hard to keep up.
