| Re: This Bud's for You Not that Sprint Nextel is an icon in business, but sadly, it doesn't end with Bud... "SK Telecom, the largest provider of wireless phone service in South Korea, is in talks to acquire Sprint Nextel, the troubled U.S. wireless carrier, according to people familiar with the talks." | Re: This Bud's for You Great, Korea now? Seriously, this is not new. Foreign companies have been buying US companies for a while. Not just companies. I heard on ABC news that a foreign company wants to by the Chrystler Building in NY. There is a German company that has bought a few water towers in IL. So it's not just companies getting bought out. With the dollar circling the drain, its easier for foreign companies can come in and own America. If you want a possitive outlook on foreign companies buying out US ones then look at it this way. This country is a melting pot of cultures, races, creeds, and so much more. I guess that US businesses are starting to get into the melting pot mode. |

| Re: This Bud's for You Not that I am supporting these actions at all, but its not like anything can be stopped anymore. Since America supports free enterprise, small businesses, and obviously large corporations, we cant just say "No" and we definitely cant tell them that they can't pick up and move a company they own out of the country. And when people in this nation are broke and jobless they cant afford to start their own business, or get the loans to start one another group comes in and will take that idea and put it to good use. That being said, higher officials in big companies made in America need to get more back bone. A lot of the big name companies shouldn't be selling out for any reason, even if the stock market looks like crap. Things bounce and change and work out in the end. But when they sell out to foreign companies it only hurts in the long run. Bah, makes me mad, but you can't do anything about it anymore cause it happens so often. |

| Re: This Bud's for You Yep. And the American farmer better watch out 'cause all those foreign owned mega farms are on the verge of being moved to the Far East! Then what are we gonna do for corn for our ethanol and soybeans for our tofu? |

| Re: This Bud's for You All this makes me wonder if, like the rest of our country, NA__AR can be purchased? Maybe Bernie's FIA could buy it and turn it into a fendered version of F1 (Ooops! NA__AR's already done that, haven't they?) Maybe one of our Wasabi Brethern could buy it, like they have half of California beach front property, and turn Junior into a camel jockey?
