Everybody seems to be on a Kyle Busch bandwagon. Well, not everybody, but alot of people. Probably the same people that were on the Patriots bandwagon, the Red Sox bandwagon, the Celtics bandwagon, etc. Whoever is winning right now is who they are going for. When Jimmie Johnson came out and won the 06 and 07 championships, you would have thought he was the next to 200 wins. But now that he's having a humbling year I don't hear half the talk I used to. Why do I say this about Busch? I didn't see that many Kyle Busch fans in his first few years. But man you let a driver get hot, and boy here they come. You can disagree with the following statement all you want to. Kyle Busch is not "the most talented driver on the circuit today." He is excellent. He is extremely talented. But not better than everybody else. Alot of his success this year is because he is so talented. Alot of it is luck. But the main reason is that somehow he has got the COT figured out. That's the key. It is ludicrous to say that he is that much better than Johnson, Gordon, Stewart, Edwards, Kenseth, Earnhardt, and Khane. I'm not saying that he's not good. I can't stand him, but I realize how good he is. Mark my words. When all these other good teams get the COT completely figured out and analyzed you'll see the gap narrow. You don't agree. The why did he just now, after they changed cars, start winning races in bulk?

Well I am a Red Sox, Patriots and Celtics fan but I'm not so high on Kyle. I will say that he has the desire and drive to win. That is a good thing. He also has a poor attitude. That isn't such a good thing. Really turns me off.

Why is he winning ??? He changed teams and has a desire to show HMS that they made the mistake of a lifetime. He could be right. Toyota has now won 8 races this year alone. I would venture a guess and say that he is winning because Toyota is giving them everything they want and then some. No question that they have something that the other three don't have.

I agree 100% but I hate too say it but I don't like too root for losers. I never liked the pat's, redsox, Celtics but once they won.... I liked them.
I don't waste my time rooting for losers.....Life is too short!!!!

I am the biggest Kyle Busch fan out there....But trust me, as soon as he stops winning, I will drop him.
I will start rooting for JR. once he starts winning...... I might be 85 years old but once he starts winning I will be a fan.....only loosers root for loosers!!!!

Can't argue with that! Not jumping on any bandwagon, but he is the class of the field right now.

I can see your thought process, but remember this. The guy that replaced Kyle Busch is not doing to shabby. Jr. is second in points. Although busch has 5 more wins than him, I wouldn't say that Rick Hendrick is devastated. Consistency wins championships in the chase format.

I don't like the Patriots at all, I don't watch baseball, I don't know who or what the Celtics is so it's obvious I don't watch their sport either, I never did and still don't and never will like Jimmie Johnson. I've always liked Kyle, just like him more now. I am a huge Jr fan, doesn't matter if he wins or loses.
As far as why Kyle is now winning like he is. He went to a new team, HMS pissed him off and he wants to show them what they got rid of, he went to a new manufacture thats ready to show they can compete.

How can you say Jr. isn't doing too shabby when compared to busch?? Yes he isn't doing too shabby compared to Reagen Smith but Kyle Busch is smoking him... Kyle first in points w/6 wins.... Jr. with 1 win/ third in points.

Ok, I jumped on the KyB bandwagon after his first win of the Season.

Why?

-I'm new to NASCAR as of 2007 and still looking for favorite drivers
-because I came on in 2007 and 'yota came on in the same year, I'm identifying with the manufacturer in general
-Tony Stewart wants out of his Toyota, so why root for him?
-Kyle followed up his win with several more great preformances.

Now, that being said, Let's look at Kyle's career performance and see what we can find...

2005, first year full time in cup, finishes 20th overall.
2006, finishes 10th.
2007, finishes 5th.
2008, running in 1st at the halfway mark.

Now what I see there is steady progression of talent. Not a breakthrough due to the new car, but simply getting better every single year.

That's my story, and I'm sticking to it.

Stick to it Measure Kyle has a darn good resume in his short career.

I've liked him a while now as it was hard to miss his drive to win and raw talent that he displayed.......but I really DO like his personality and his will to prove Hendrick wrong

Wow, loco4pablo...if you are serious about what you wrote in this thread, you are the quintessence of the fairweather fan. But if it makes you happy to jump from team to team, more power to you. I personally believe that fandom is a lot like a relationship... to truly revel in the highs, you must be willing to endure the lows.

Kyle B definitely has the magic touch this year. His turn to be dominant.

And like him or not, I have to admire his spirit. Yes I think he's a Brat, but to get up on his window and take a bow after winning despite (or because of) the boos... cheeky as hell, but spirited.

Yes, my teams haven't won YET, but I will continue to stand by them.
In your eyes that makes me a loser, in my eyes it makes me loyal. I'd rather be loyal and continue to stand by my teams, even if they never win, than to be fickle in my choices in life.

Being loyal to your team does not make you a loser. It means you are a very sincere person about the team and truly a fan.
