I have no problem with those who choose a driver/team and stand by them in the good and bad times. We are all different personalities and we all make different choices based on what works best for each of us. I see no point in condemning anyone for their choice. It is perfectly fine to disagree with that choice but really .... a loser ?? I gotta hope you are just kidding when you post like that.

It does amaze me sometimes how many people on this site take everything someone says so seriously and are so sensitive.

This thing about jumping on the bandwagon reminds me of an election we had here a few years ago, with one party way ahead in the polls. A journalist was out on the street casually asking people how they would vote when this one person said, "Well, I support the other party but I want my vote to count so I'll vote for the party that's in the lead."

My faith in democracy died a little that day, but it does show the mentality of a large number of people; cheer for the winning team.

At some point, a fan sees something that impresses him about a driver.. be that wins, or anything else. A new fan will always be a bandwagon fan.

The true test is seeing how many people jump off the wagon when the driver starts to go through a down period. JR has a massive fanbase without many wins to show for it, for instance. But they were all bandwagon fans when they first started cheering for him.

Yeah but it's all in jest..It's fun to get people going. None of this stuff is really all that serious. It's fun getting you going over Earnhardt, or firing up the Jr. nation or busting on Phils, beloved phillies.
Man last year I took a big beating over JPM but it was all in fun too me.
Now I'm thinking of getting off the JPM wagon because people aren't complaining about him much any more. I need to find a new bad guy fast so I can defend someone!!

I can't stand Kyle Busch!
It's not because of the fact that he's winning or losing,
Or that his car got loose and caused DEJ to lose in Richmond,
Or because he told a bunch of beer can throwing fans who boo him that everytime he wins he hopes they cry,

I hate Kyle Busch for no other reason than the way he looks,
he's too tall and lanky, his ears are too big, and he has a funny nose,
but the reason I HATE him the most is because he's so nerdy and geeky looking, he looks like the kid who always got A's in class but made my team always lose in gym class!

Now if he looked like Danica Patrick, or Dale Earnhardt Jr, or Carl Edwards, or Jimmie Johnson or just about anybody else besides his ugly looking self I'd be a really big fan of his. I just don't like ugly people especially ugly people who are successful because they get the attention instead of the beautiful people and I really hate him for that!

So Kyle Busch I don't care how many times you win because none of that matters because you'll never be a beautiful person or a handsome man. You'll never look like a Hollywood star so everybody will hate you and everytime you win a race everybody hates you that much more because you stole the light away from the handsome driver's who should be in victory lane.

Given the multitude of posts in which his looks are mentioned, obviously a lot of people care what he looks like. Seeing that my point escapes you, would the majority of NASCAR fans hate him as much if he looked like a young Burt Reynolds? I recently heard on the radio many Hollywood stars are selling the photo rights of their babies. It's estimated that the photo right of Angelina and Pitt's newborn may fetch as high as 10 Million or more dollars. So does the looks of Nascar driver's mean anything? If you think not, then you maybe you are naive to the values of our country

Speaking of Kyle Busch, he just spanked the Nationwide boys for the 5th time this year at Chicago. This kid is nearly unstoppable! I have to admit, he is getting to be a bit more likeable in his interviews. He seems geniunely happy to be at JGR. I even heard some cheers from the fans after his obilgitory bow standing on the car. No matter what anyone thinks of him he is a talented individual and a main reason for keeping my interest in Na$car racing.
