Re: Allstate 400 @ The Brickyard - "Live Chat" First thing I thought of was ride around in the back and stay on the lead lap and save tires...soon as I thought that they said it doesn't matter how fast you go they wear out just as fast even if you don't lean on the car. Of course you might could stay on the lead lap at half throttle with caution laps every 8 laps witht his long a track.

Re: Allstate 400 @ The Brickyard - "Live Chat" I would want my money back. It's turning into a pit stop competition. I'm not going to knock goodyear or NASCAR but things like this happen I udnerstand this as a racer myself. However, at some point you have to weigh the safety and "experience" and say enough is enough. It's hard to weigh against 250,000 people in the stands who demand to see a good race and TV who has already paid to see a race.....of course NASCAR always says safety first. Right now the NASCAR officals are between a rock and a very very hard place.

Re: Allstate 400 @ The Brickyard - "Live Chat" Thought the same thing when I saw Pemberton walking thru the pits who normally 100% of the time is in the tower running the race.

Re: Allstate 400 @ The Brickyard - "Live Chat" It isn't the tire. It's the darn new race car! We wanted them to put a stop to the follow-the-leader racing. Congrats! They did. They gave us a demolition derby!
